Punjab Govt to Distribute Free Cows & Buffaloes to 3,380 Widowed Women From October 21

Punjab Govt to Distribute Free Cows & Buffaloes to 3,380 Widowed Women From October 21. The Punjab government will begin distributing free cows and buffaloes to widowed and divorced women in South Punjab from October 21, 2026, under the Chief Minister’s Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme (ATTRW).

The initiative aims to make rural women financially independent by helping them earn a regular income through milk production and livestock farming, instead of depending on one-time financial assistance.
