What Does Your Chromebook Scheme Status Mean?
If the official portal displays a status message, its meaning depends on the portal’s own definitions. The following are general explanations of common status terms.
| Status | General Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified | The submitted information has been checked. This does not necessarily mean final selection. |
| Under Verification | The application or academic record is still being reviewed. |
| Eligible | The student meets the stated eligibility conditions, but distribution may require further steps. |
| Selected | The portal or official notice identifies the student as selected under the scheme. |
| Not Found | The record was not located using the supplied details. |
| Ineligible | The student does not meet one or more stated requirements. |
If your record is not found, carefully recheck your roll number, registration number, and other details. Contact the relevant board or scheme support channel if the problem continues.
What to Do If Your Name Appears on the Chromebook Scheme List
If your name appears on an official selection list, follow the next steps communicated by the scheme authorities.
- Save your official confirmation or reference number, if provided.
- Keep your academic documents and identification details available.
- Check the official portal regularly for further instructions.
- Follow any announced verification or collection procedure.
- Do not pay an agent or an unofficial website to secure a Chromebook.
The number of devices, distribution phases, collection dates, and beneficiary lists should be confirmed through official announcements. Do not treat an unverified claim about a particular number of devices or distribution date as confirmed information.
Is the PM Youth Chromebook Scheme List 2026 a PDF?
The format of the list depends on how the authorities publish scheme information. The official website may provide an online status facility, a downloadable list, an announcement, or another verification method.
Students should not assume that a single final PDF covering every board has been released. Check the official portal for the actual format and latest available information.
Eligibility Criteria
Before checking the list, students should read the official eligibility criteria. These may specify:
- Eligible educational institutions and examination boards.
- The examination year and academic performance requirements.
- Eligible classes or grades.
- Required identification and academic documents.
- Registration, verification, and selection procedures.
- Any exclusions or additional conditions.
The final eligibility rules announced by the authorities take priority over unofficial claims. Being a high-performing student does not automatically confirm selection unless the student meets all scheme requirements.
Benefits of the PM Youth Chromebook Scheme
The purpose of a student Chromebook initiative is to improve access to digital learning. Eligible students may use a Chromebook for educational activities such as:
- Online classes and learning platforms.
- Research and educational websites.
- Preparing assignments and presentations.
- Accessing digital textbooks and study resources.
- Developing computer and digital literacy skills.
The actual device specifications, ownership conditions, and distribution arrangements should be confirmed from the official scheme documentation.
Official PM Youth Chromebook Scheme Portal
Students should use the official IBCC website for scheme information and avoid entering personal details on suspicious websites.
Official portal: https://pmychromebooks.ibcc.edu.pk/
If the website is temporarily unavailable or your board is not listed, try again later and contact the relevant education board or official scheme support channel. A missing dropdown option does not, by itself, prove that a student is eligible or ineligible.
